I had the 1st surgery yesterday and all went well. God damn it feels good being in competent hands. (Even better having REAL meds and pain killers to help ease the pain - I just about fell off my chair when I was offered morphine! But falling would have been in part due to the other narcotics they'd already fed me for the pain!!)
It'll be known in 2 weeks time whether or not I need to have the second surgery. Seems it's not as serious as it was made out the first time around. Thank God!
