It’s got to be…
On Wednesday evening I started training a new team of sales people; four young, smart Filipino girls. It was the first day for all of them so they only stayed for a few hours of training; each of them was meant to start officially today.
Can someone please explain to me how only one of the three girls showed up today (and an hour late at that); only to leave (for 15 minutes; or so she said), after she realized none of the other girls showed up, and not return again?
None of them are answering calls. None of them gave a reason. As far as I know, none of them knew each other before this. And all of them seemed more than excited about starting their new jobs when they left Wednesday evening.
It’s got to be a fucking conspiracy or something.
Now what the fuck am I supposed to do?
I got a cheque today. It’s about enough to cover the money I’m owed for salary; short one-thousand dirhams. I’m seriously thinking to just walk away now. Forget this man, this shit-forsaken-company, and never, ever look back. A thousand dirhams. I can live without it, can’t I?
Just hand the keys over to the PRO. Take anything and everything that has my signature on it; contact details; etc. Never answer that mobile number again (the only one of my numbers that anyone even remotely related to this company has).

I think that you shouldn't just walk away, I'm not really good at walking away, I tend to stick around until I'm being under appreciated. You don't seem that you have been, so I think you should stay, hopefully bright things will pop up and come your way!
Dont just quit over 4 stupid Filipino girls, who can't live up to having a decent job.

I think after all that you've been thru over the past several weeks, the next step is to walk away.
AED 1,000 deficit? Take whatever possible that is worth anything from the office including stationery, mugs, souveniers etc if there is any :)

You must be new... LOL! I drive for more than 7 hours each day for the sake of this job. I then almost never get my salary on time.
None of my suggestions are taken, (though countless marketing plans, sales plans, and potential distributor lists are requested) and never replied to. I'm the General Manager and take all the blame. My emails go unanswered, however, once every month or so the owner comes and yells for three days, making me feel like shit (or even below shit)... before turning his back again...
Pheras... I'd dig out some of the other entries about this, but I honestly couldn't be assed. Under-appreciated is an under-statement!
Wanderer... LOL! I can't steal from him. I have massive fears about some bogus case he might make out of revenge as it is (as I've had the same happen before when I walked away from a company).
But walk away, I think is the answer. Now I just need to find the balls to do it.

my advice is .. revenge is not your type of thing .. just grow some balls and walk or tough it out .. but being the person you are .. you won't grow balls for this particular occasion .. what you will do is wait till you're choking with the vile taste of being underappreciated and then walk when you can't take it anymore .. ugh the agony ..
at my last job .. I sorta picked up on a rumour about the MD and his exec assistant .. and when I'd started choking on the vile taste of being underappreciated myself .. I fueled the rumour with all my heart .. and it took off like a wild fire .. just right when I was leaving .. the things they have done to try to cover it up after my leaving ..

to get back at my management at my last job for choking on the vile taste of being underappreciated .. I breathed life back into a rumour that had died .. according to my own little story .. the MD and the exec. manager were sleeping together .. What they hoped to have been dusted under the carpet re-emerged with shining glory as my own little message of fuck you!
how about you shove this shit job up where the sun doesn't shine .. all while maintaining the air of innocence ..
but guess who walked out of there leaving them breathlessly trying to put a lid on something that could effectively terminate both their marriages .. EVIL I know but kinda makes you wonder .. if there was no truth to it .. why oh why did they cry in outrage .. and she certainly didn't blow up those lips for me or her husband now did she .. she barely saw him .. and she certainly didn't start showing up with mountains of cleavage for the benefit of the office employees ..
They still don't know it was me .. but the point of revenge is not to be known but to inflict similiar pain on those who used and abused you ..
Work Ethic my ass ... I suppose on a moral level what I did was wrong .. but not sleeping for a whole week in preperation for an event, driving every day two hours from shj to DIC to work and back, fibbing to every other customer on behalf of the company in order to put out fires, taking the blame for mistakes she made and then blatantly claiming in all innocence she delegated to me, only to be told it wasn't her fault that I was stupid for making the mistake when infact it was her that made the mistake.. I could go on and on .. but I've alreagy gotten my revenge .. I walked out of there with an Ipod as a parting gift and lunch at La Vigna. To date I am the only employee that left terminated but with a parting fit and a settlement that not only covered two months salary but a little more .. my going away party .. was more of a celebration of my moving on to bigger and better things ..
My MD to this day still buzzes me to ask how I'm doing and he was the one that terminated me .. I'm not sure if its because he found respect for my abilities in the coup I orchestrated on his sorry and non commital butt or if its because he's afraid I'm going to blab ..
I still have his CC number .. any suggestions as to what I should do with it?

So in conclusion Tainted, walking out is the moral thing to do but its not nearly as fulfilling as setting up an ops center and a chain of command and taking out your boss KGB style .
