Mother Foooooooooooocking terrorist.

Article - Because I just don't know how to do it in the title.

How many more Muslim countries is the US going to attack before the American’s themselves throw Bush out of office or maybe put a bullet in his brain?

And what a fucking reason! For the Iranian Publics sake! Amazing, sort of like freeing the Iraqi’s from Saddam as the excuse molded?

Syria will be next. I believe that’s what was said during the starting days of the Iraq invasion, along with the Iranian threat.

Bush doesn't run America, the CIA does. They're the one who call the shots.

Now WAIT ONE MINUTE...

A couple of things:

1) The more likely scenario is that someone leaked a copy of some generic "military plans" to a reporter. You have to realize the difference between "administration plans" and regular military plans. The US military REGULARLY makes battle plans for a wide variety of possible world scenarios. They like to be prepared. That way, if a situation developed where they needed to act quickly, they'd be more prepared than if no current plans existed.

You can also be sure that we have regularly updated attack plans for such places as: North Korea, Russia, Syria, China, Venezuela, Cuba, Panama, etc.

The reason we were able to mobilize so quickly during the first gulf war (1991) is because : Yep, you guessed it, the military had already done advance planning for it.

The problem is: when these plans get leaked, everyone gets hot under the collar. The fact is that we've "planned" for a hell of a lot worse situations than Iran. 99.9% of the plans go unused. Diplomacy is what takes care of most of the situations. The .1% of the situations where diplomacy fails, end up with Military action.

And imagine this: If you can possibly believe it: Even the FRENCH make active, ongoing battle plans for military readiness.

Trust me: We're not going to war with Iran.

And even more likely: This whole thing is probably very carefully planned hyperbole on the part of the Bush administration. Designed to test the reaction of the Iranian leadership.

We talked a lot of "tough talk" with North Korea over the last 3 years, and so far, THEY have abandoned their nuclear weapons program.

Leads…

I sure hope you’re right. But I did hear about these plans at the start of the Iraq invasion.

And Sam… can I be the vice?

No offense intended towards the Arabic people or Arabic culture, but seriously, the last thing we want (as Americans) is to be "neck-deep" in conquered Arabs. We have enough problems.

BUT: It seems that our military intelligence determined long ago that the WMD stockpiles were shuttled into Syria AND that the Syrian government was giving quite a bit of active support to Iraqi insurgents. I seriously doubt we'd ever "invade" Syria, but we'd certainly strike them HARD if we felt that our soldiers were being consistently put in danger by their actions.
