Reoccurring Event?

Though I’m still waiting for her reply, Irene has popped back into my inbox with a number of images she thought I’d like to share, and I’m thinking this may become a constant, inconsistent event in my blog from here on out. I do think these sorts of things, make for a nice little change to the way my blog usually reads. And, they give most everyone a reason to smile.

Despite my growing reputation around here, I do enjoy seeing and making people smile. And most people find that in person, I’m one of the more cheery people around. So, with thanks once again to Irene, I present to you:

Coffee Anyone?

How about a comparison? Actually, I’d seen an interesting clip a while back that shows how much these two have said that do actually mirror one another.

And I don’t personally like guns nor do I believe we should have the right to bare ARMS, but here’s some safety tips for those of you who do.

How’s that for the lightest entry ever in Tainted’s blog? You all think this should become a regular-type addition around here?

Good grief woman, I nearly fell off me perch in shock!! Tainted posting funny pictures.....what is the blogosphere coming to?? But, in answer to your question, YES, do it again every once in a while. Even a miserable old bat like me likes to smile :-)

Stop calling yourself old, Jin, 'cos then I'll have to call myself that too! lol.

Yes, Tainted, a little humour goes a long way, and in your blog you have to celebrate the times in your life when things are peachy, as well as the times when it's not all beer and skittles!

roflmao! Yes Harsha, we do. There's Taunted and a fair number of others who do this as well.

I'll just have to make sure I'm not double posting or duplicating things that have already been posted around here! Besides, I didn't say EVERY post would be like this!!!

No, no... I'm thinking up a 'Tainted' post as I type. Just need the time to get it out is all.

I'm curious about the comparison? What do make of this picture and its caption? I mean the second one in your post.

I don't, really. But I hate that pic! Frogs give me the biggest willies.

Light stuff from you once in a while is perfectly fine, girl!

the bush comparison is more than just a comparison...you all know of bush's grandfather's role in hitler's rise to power?

Symphony,

If I could find it again (and I’ve been searching without luck), I’d post the clip. There are a lot of statements that Hitler said in his speeches, when translated become the exact same things that Bush has said repeatedly to the public. That’s what I meant. I’ll keep hunting and let you know if and when I find it.

Lizza,

Lol! I’d forgotten about your loathing of frogs. Actually, I just about bought one for my son the other day when we went fish shopping. But I’d need a new tank and well, I think one is enough for now. For the record, he fed the fish ONE WHOLE DAY, before he got bored and asked mom to do it for him. LOL! (He’s three. Of course I don’t expect more from him!)

Phaedrus,

I’ve made that link clickable for now. Once I’m done with the comments I’ll take a look.

Phaedrus’ link

For future reference you can do that yourself by replacing the [ &]‘s with < & >’s in the below example of your link.

[a href=http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1312540,00.html]Phaedrus’ link[/a]

:)

Prometheus, roflmao! I had to re-read that one. Now you’re just being mean. He’s a monkey not a frog!

BF… You can not eat my fish. You may not cook my frogs. You are only welcome to swat at the tanks, and if you don’t start listening I AM going to take out to spray bottle and start shooting at your nose.

TF: thanks for that Guardian link. I'll check it out when it's peaceful & calm.

Just a quick query?

Suppose if the Bush family had links to Hitler, I doubt if the Jews would have allowed his Old Man to win the 1st one, let alone George W win twice. You see what I mean, don't you? Maybe this link is a figment of someone's imagination.

Don't get me wrong, I support the Democrats :-) LOL

Symphony!

I'm not claiming links to Hitler... No no... The thing I was talking about (and am still looking for) shows similarities in speech... things both literally said to duplicate each other.

And *I should be blushing now*, I didn't look at the link here, yet!
