Yeah, it's going to take a long time for the UAE to get there. Don't hold your breath!
We have a long, long way to go but we are getting marginally better - when I lived here before everyone who quit their job got an automatic six month ban and had to leave the country.
It's not just the laws it's also the mindset - the standard automatic thought of far too many employers is 'quit and I'll deport you' and to me it's more important that changes than the law.
Tainted, good to see your health seems to be improving.
loved the fact that u had a park behind ur work place...mines got a car park...all the best with ur break..
